As a border city, Chau Doc is a major commercial center of An Giang province in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general. This city is very convenient to connect with Cambodia through Tinh Bien international border gate by national highway.

SERVICES AND DOCUMENTS TO PREPARE AT THE CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH BORDER GATE
– Guide to welcome and support Visa + Border gate service fee: 15$/guest
– Cambodian visa fee: 36$/guest
– Passport valid for 6 months
– Vietnam visa if the guest is not exempted when checking in to Vietnam. The border gate
they collect a copy before the guest exits Vietnam.
PROCEDURES FOR VISA BORDER SERVICE
– One day before, Alden Travel staff meet the guests:
- Check passport (valid for at least 6 months, with at least 3 blank pages for stamping, verify entry stamps into Vietnam).
- If the guest has a Vietnam exit visa, it must be attached to the passport when checking out of Vietnam.
- Have the guest fill in email or phone number and sign the immigration form.
- Collect visa fee ($36/guest, US dollars no older than 15 years, not wrinkled or torn, not stained with ink or writing).
- Guest signs the receipt form.
LUGGAGE TRANSFER SERVICE
- When arriving at the Vietnam border checkpoint, guests disembark and recheck their luggage, sign luggage receipts (for group tours, tour guide or group leader checks group luggage and signs).
- The transportation team is responsible for transporting guest luggage, scanning and checking luggage at customs, and handing over to the tour guide or group leader from Cambodia.
- Guests recheck their luggage before boarding the bus to Cambodia and sign for receipt (group leader can sign on behalf of guests).

– Vehicle prices increase by 20% on holidays 02/09, 30/04, 01/05, New Year’s Day 01/01, Lunar New Year from New Year’s Eve – 5th day of the lunar calendar.
